In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top-down games category on Android in Africa saw notable performances from five leading apps, with varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides key insights into the mobile gaming landscape in the region.

Soccer Superstar experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 99K in late September and peaking at around 247K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, increasing from about 764K to nearly 1.06M over the quarter.

Magic Tiles 3 had a steady performance in terms of weekly revenue, maintaining around $300 to $380 throughout the quarter, with a notable dip to $54 in the final week of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 187K and closing the quarter at approximately 162K. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.6M.
